Children We Serve

We serve children 2½ - 5 years of age. Children are put into class by age: three year old classes, four year old Pre-Kindergarten classes and five year old Junior Kindergarten classes.

We also offer a Jumpstart Preschool class for young children that are not yet toilet-trained.

Our Curriculum

Saddleback Children's Center is an accredited, developmental program and offers age-appropriate learning activities in a center-based classroom. We have adapted programs such as Zoophonics, Handwriting Without Tears and Jumpin' Numbers & Shakin' Shapes to our curriculum to offer a well balanced program for children.

We provide an environment that supports children's learning by offering hands on activities and material that promotes the development of:

  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills
  • Receptive and Expressive Language
  • Comprehension and Reasoning Skills
  • Cognitive Skills
  • Social and Emotional Skills
  • The Arts
  • Spiritual Awareness

On a daily basis the teachers intentionally set the classroom centers and activities to include:
