Our Staff

Our staff is required to hold credentials from the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing. Staff members also participate in professional growth including continuing education, seminars and annual conferences in order to keep abreast of new developments in early childhood education and continue to provide a quality program for the children.

Our staff is carefully selected to provide a loving and nurturing Christian environment while stimulating the children academically and socially. All staff members are experienced, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in child development. Kindness and consideration are modeled in both words and behavior. Positive reinforcement is used to guide children and help them develop a strong self-esteem.

All staff members are CPR & First Aid Certified.

Meet Our Preschool Staff Members

Administrative Team

  • Meagan, our Director, has been at Saddleback Children's Center since 2015 where her daughters also attended preschool. It feels like home to her! She loves seeing Jesus work and spreading His love through building relationships with families, children and teachers.

She was born and raised in California. She attended Purdue University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Minor in Psychology. Meagan also met her husband at Purdue and upon graduating they moved out to Chicago where they lived for almost five years. One year before moving back to California, God surprised them with two blessings, twin girls. Meagan began her career in banking, but from the moment her children were brought into her life she has since been inspired to work with children as a profession as she is continually amazed at the world through the eyes of a child.

Meagan went back to school to obtain an Associate of Science in Child Development from Saddleback College and currently holds a California Child Development Teaching Permit as a Program Director. Meagan enjoys volunteering in her daughters' Sunday School classroom, spending time with her family, outdoors, hiking, yoga, drawing and just laughing.

In the summer of 2018, Miss Mare received an email looking for a preschool teacher at a Christian school, and thought "That's my dream job!" She didn't have any ECE credits, so she promptly enrolled at Saddleback College so that she could be here!

Miss Liz has been working at Saddleback Children’s Center since May of 2023 and has loved it so much! She loves that our school is based on the outdoor classroom project and that we get to learn and be a part of the nature that God created for us to enjoy with one another.

Liz has had a passion for kids ever since she could remember. She grew up watching her mom love on kids so much that she believes it rubbed off on her. She had a genuine love for the kids she worked with and met. Because of Liz's curiosity and passion for children, she decided to major in child development at CSUF and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. Since 2012 she has been teaching and working with children in math and English. Miss Liz believes it is truly important to understand the basics and foundations first before moving onto the next step of the learning process.
